Paragon eSports operates this website and is managed by Centz and Oathblade, who use these public aliases. For questions about personal information or to make a privacy request, contact the management team at info.paragonesports@gmail.com.
Information we receive
Applications can include your name, email address, date of birth, Discord username, gaming usernames, region, platform, public profile links, experience, availability and answers to role-specific questions. The information requested depends on the application. Please do not include passwords, payment details or sensitive information that is not needed for your application.
When you contact us, we receive the information you include in your message. Our hosting and security providers may also process technical information, such as your IP address, browser information, request times and error logs, to deliver and protect the website.
How we use information
We use application details to assess suitability, check eligibility, communicate with applicants and manage recruitment. We use technical information to operate the site, control access, prevent abuse and investigate faults. Application details are not used to enrol you in a marketing mailing list.
Our reasons for processing
Our intended lawful basis for recruitment enquiries and website security is our legitimate interest in managing applications and operating a safe website, balanced against your rights. Where processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract, that basis may apply. Where we rely on consent for a separate optional purpose, you can withdraw it. Any applicable legal obligation may also require us to retain or disclose information.
Who receives it
Submitted HR, Recruiter and Competitive Player applications are delivered through Discord webhooks to the relevant staff review channel, including a text attachment containing your answers. Authorised Paragon staff review those submissions. Discord processes and stores the delivered information under its own applicable terms and privacy arrangements.
Our hosting and infrastructure providers deliver and protect this website. Google Fonts supplies website fonts, and some team profile images load from an external image host. Those requests can disclose your IP address and browser request information to those providers. Social links open the named platforms; they are not embedded social feeds.
Merchandise checkout takes place on Raven. Paragon’s website does not collect your card details or complete your order. Information you give Raven is governed by Raven’s own privacy arrangements.
Storage and retention
Our stated retention period for full application submissions is 30 days from submission. After that period, the full application, including its name, email, date of birth and detailed answers, is to be removed from Paragon’s application records and staff Discord review messages and attachments.
Paragon retains a separate, limited record consisting of the applicant’s Discord username, the application decision and, where applicable, the ban or blacklist reason. These limited records currently have no scheduled expiry and are intended to be kept indefinitely to identify previous decisions and enforce restrictions.
Indefinite retention does not remove your data protection rights or mean that every record remains necessary forever. Continued retention must be justified by an ongoing purpose; records should be reviewed and corrected, deleted or anonymised when no longer needed. You can contact us to request access, correction, deletion or a review of whether continued retention is necessary.
The website delivers applications to Discord; it does not currently automate the 30-day deletion process. Paragon management is responsible for carrying out the stated retention procedure. Website security logs and provider records are subject to the applicable provider’s retention arrangements. Deleting a browser cookie does not delete an application already submitted to Discord.
International processing
Our service providers may process information outside the UK. The applicable transfer arrangements depend on the provider, its service terms and the location involved. Contact us for information about the safeguards applicable to your submission.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your information, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing. These rights are subject to legal conditions. We may ask for proportionate information to verify your identity.

Younger applicants
The Competitive Player form requires applicants to be at least 13. HR and Recruiter applications require applicants to be at least 18. Applicants under 18 should involve a parent or guardian before applying or agreeing to any team arrangement. The age requirement on a form does not, by itself, confirm eligibility for every competition or platform.
Cookies and updates
See our Cookies page for information about cookies and third-party services. We will update this notice when the website’s handling of personal information changes.
Twitch live stream
The Live Stream page loads Twitch video and chat only after you select Load live stream. These embeds connect your browser to Twitch, which may receive technical information and use cookies under its own privacy policy. Select Unload Twitch to remove the embeds from the page. This does not delete cookies Twitch has already stored; manage those through your browser settings.
Newsletter
If you subscribe, your email address is sent to Brevo to manage your subscription and deliver the Paragon eSports monthly newsletter. We use it for this purpose with your consent, separately from recruitment applications. You can unsubscribe using the link in a newsletter or contact info.paragonesports@gmail.com. Brevo processes the subscription and delivery information under its own privacy policy.
